The Twisted Lands
The Twisted Lands
The Twisted Lands is the Region to the Northwest, it is roughly 2200 miles from top to bottom, and roughly the same distance from west to east (Roughly the distance from Greenville, South Carolina, USA, to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA). The Twisted Lands has been divided into eight sections, or Baronies, each controlled by one Aberrant Lord, these are Disorientation, Deceit, Hunger, Abandonment, Anger, Loss, Fear, and Madness. The whole of the Twisted Lands has been corrupted to some degree, and the little civilization remaining has carved out a place in the hostile environment. The only place where there is constant peace of mind is Renth, where a magical field blocks all Aberrant influence inside its borders.
Climate
The Twisted Lands lay roughly from the 50º to 60º lines of latitude. Most of the Twisted Lands climate has been altered and fine tuned by the Aberrant Lords, making it colder and harsher. The highest temperature found in the Twisted Lands outside of Renth is 40º F, and the coldest being -40 F. The temperature tends to remain similar throughout the whole continent, getting slightly warmer towards the southern part of the continent, and slightly colder towards the north. The whole climate has been formed to create the most inhospitable environment possible for non-aberrations.
Population and Distribution
The Origin Lineages of the Twisted Lands are the Plumbite, the Vespoid, and the Phrenian, however the Phrenian have since migrated to other parts of Drakomere. There are six major population centers in the Twisted Lands. Renth is a safe haven in the Twisted Lands and is the primary home of the Renthian Dwarves. Shē-òo-òe, Nāekà-á, and Kálòo-òo are all civilizations in which the Plumbite mainly reside. Nāekà-á is a city state and used as a harbor and stopping point when sailing along the edge of the Twisted Lands, the safest and preferred way to travel. Zhrrq is the main population center of the Vespoids, which are then sent out into the two civilizations of Zeerqa and Azh’aaqoe, which are two separate, but sister civilizations, both with different purposes to serve Zhrrq, where the main queens of the Thri-Kreen in the Twisted Lands reside.

Steelshroud
Steelshroud is the Region to the North. It is roughly 2400 miles from the northernmost reaches of the Kzaa Frontier, to the southern end of the Hisies Forest (roughly the same distance as Gibraltar, to Kyiv, Ukraine).

Climate
The lower third of Steelshroud is by far the warmest, in the Hisies Forest and Grassland, the coldest the weather gets in the winter hovers around 40F, and in the summer it usually stays between 60 and 70 F. The air is quite humid, and the land is very lush. The Hisies Forest is filled with rivers, lakes, and massive sequoia trees. The Grassland would be called a swamp in wetter and warmer Regions, also being covered in little ponds and rivulets with the tall grasses and reeds standing above it.<br>
The rest of Steelshroud south of the Topaz Ridge is similar in climate, with the Zhenem Plateau and Hisies Frostlands being more humid in general. The Plateau and Frostlands both run just under freezing during the winter and get up to about 60F) in the summer. In the Innovative Khisiv, the temperature gets to about 35F in the winter and up to 55F in the summer.<br>
It’s not very humid and doesn’t get a lot of precipitation in the inland areas, but it flourishes on the coasts. In the Barren Khisiv the temperature gets to about 50F for one month in the year with the winters getting to 20F with most of the year hovering around freezing. This causes a lot of snow and ice to build up, melt fully for a very short amount of time, but not have enough time to flow away. This means that in the winters, the whole ground is basically frozen, and in the warm seasons, the whole ground is wet and muddy.<br>
As we reach to the north of the Topaz Ridge, it begins to get much colder. The Kzaa Dominance and Isles have the same climate, with summers reaching on average only 35 to 40F. And most of the year is below freezing, with winters reaching on average 15F. The Dominance is filled with coniferous trees, with hardy oats and barley making up the majority of the plant life in both the Dominance and Isles. The Kzaa Frontier is by far one of the most environmentally inhospitable locations in Drakomere. It is dry with very little precipitation and rarely gets above freezing with the nights in winter getting as cold as -13F with biting winds. Very little plant or animal life lives in the Frontier, and the main source of life are roving tribes of Kzaa who use magic to create food to sustain themselves.

Population & Distribution
The Origin Lineages of Steelshroud are the Faerie, the Gnome, and the Ork. In addition, a decent population of Automatons and Gnolls are present, and a large number of the Faeries have fled to Drakion, yet a decent population does remain. Steelshroud is broken up into four Civilizations that lie on its land. Zheshier, whose people are referred to as the Zhenem, is located in the south-eastern section as well as the Zhenem Islands, home primarily to Gnomes and Automatons. Hisiekin, whose people are referred to as the Hisies, is located in the south-western part of Steelshroud, primarily home to Faeries, as well as some Gnolls and Gnomes. Khisivnik, whose people are referred to as the Shiliekh, is located in the mid-South of the continent, as well as the southern section of the Topaz Ridge, and is primarily home to Orks and Gnomes, as well as a few Gnolls. Koorzakha, whose people are referred to as the Kzaa, is located from the Northern part of the Topaz Ridge to the northernmost tip of the Continent, however much of the Kzaa Frontier is unpopulated with no central government.
Most of Zheshier’s population is located in the Zhenem Plateau with the Zhenem Isles acting more as a hub of commerce for the Zhenem, and a popular rest stop for the Sòolòo used to travel between the Regions of Drakomere, with tourism and machinery as its largest exports. Most of Khisivnik’s population is split between Innovative Khisiv and the Splendorous Khisiv, with the Barren Khisiv being filled with dangerous Aberrations, with the mined goods from the Topaz Ridge being its largest export. The Splendorous Khisiv also has a decently large Dwarven population. Hisiekin has its small remaining population spread mostly on the southern coast of the Hisies forest, exporting goods to Drakion being its largest export. Koorzakha has the vast majority of its population in the Kzaa Dominance and pretty much the rest in the Kzaa Isles, with a very small amount in the Kzaa Frontier. Their largest export is the thick hides of the megafauna that live in the northern reaches of Steelshroud.

The Wild Plains
The Wild Plains
The Wild Plains are to the northeast of Drakomere. Its Origin Lineages are the Beastfolk, Highborne, and Humans. It is by far the largest Region in Drakomere, over 12,400 miles from north to south, spanning just under sixty degrees of latitude (roughly the distance from Amadjuak, Northwestern Passages, Canada, to Punta Arenas, Chile).
Climate
The Wild Plains have a three-fold climate. The northern continent is a very cold Arctic, with an average temperature spanning from 23 to 40F. The middle continent is a temperate grassland and forest, with average temperatures ranging from 45 to 55F). Finally, the southern continent is a hot desert, with an average temperature ranging from 65 to 80F.
Population & Distribution
The Wild Plains has eleven major civilizations. The Khazhtooq are a society mainly composed of (used to be firbolg). The Taakaenin, Boehwen, and Achiechie are societies mainly composed of Highborne, a humanoid Lineage with wings protruding from their back. The Blieshaan, Baesfier, and Forsmin are societies mainly composed of Humans. The Qa”or, Na’aaw, and A]ookae are societies mainly composed of Beastfolk, anthropomorphic animals of varying species. Finally, the Firswin are a society with very mixed populations, including the likes of Elves, Dwarves, Plumbites, Saurians, and more.

The Stonebloom Plateau
The Stonebloom Plateau
The Plateau is to the west of Drakomere. Its Origin Lineages are the Saurians, Stonelings, and Bloomings. The Saurians left, searching for their own lands to the south, finding the Archipelago. The Stonelings and Bloomlings have merged into one Lineage, known as the Stoneblooms. It sits right on the equator, and is inhabited by the compound Lineage. It is 3,750 miles from north to south and 8,400 miles from east to west (roughly the distance from Berlin, Germany to Shanghai China).
Climate
The Plateau is quite homogenous in its climate, running only seven or eight degrees of latitude on either side of the equator. The whole continent has heavy rainfall, and is thus a tropical rainforest, with an average temperature of around 85F during the warmer months, and 50F during the colder months.
Population & Distribution
There are three major Civilizations on the Plateau, all primarily of Stonebloom population. The Stoneblooms are a mix of stones, vines, and other plants and minerals, with multiple consciousnesses of either Stoneling or Bloomling identity, due to their lack of traditional humanoid features, they are somewhat shunned by the other peoples of Drakomere and are rare to see outside of the Plateau. Most peoples also don’t emigrate to the Plateau, due to the strangeness of the Stoneblooms.

Drakion
Drakion
Drakion is the central region of Drakomere, and the seat of much of the global political power. In addition to this, it also houses numerous city states, each of which ruled by a Draconic Baron. Each of these Baronies is built for and ruled by a different type of Dragon. The three types of Dragon originating from Drakion (the Aluminum, Diamond, and Liverwort Dragons), as well as several other Dragons migrating from other Regions have taken command of these Baronies. (The Dragons that have not ventured to Drakion are generally reclusive, and over the Ages, in addition to the pressure of Aberrant Influence, have generally reverted to a more animalistic sort of nature.)<br>
Drakion is about 3,300 miles from the northernmost reaches of the Northern Qkhaat Mountains, to the Southernmost reaches of Stlaakh (roughly the distance from Jerusalem, Israel, to Mumbai, India). Drakion is also about 4,300 miles from the easternmost reaches of the Fae Forest to the westernmost reaches of the Diamond Ridge (roughly the distance from Istanbul, Turkey, to Mogadishu, Somalia).
Climate
Drakion has a variety of climates, as it crosses the 30º line of latitude, and extends an additional 10º into that latitude. The southern third of Drakion is between the latitudes of 25º and 30º.  This allows for the hot continent of Stlaakh to thrive.  The desert region of Stlaakh gets up to an average temperature of 85F in the summer, and down to 60F during the winter months. The Savannah surrounding the Stlaakh desert is slightly cooler, thanks to proximity to the coast and the cool breeze it draws, getting only to 75F in the summer, and down to an average 50F during the wintertime. Both of these regions receive minimal rainfall.<br>
To the west of Drakomere is the Lierethi and its surrounding Dragonlands. This continent gets to an average of 72F during the summer, and down to 37F in the winter. The continent which Chaloola is based on is 2F colder on average than the Lierethi, while the continent which the Academy is based on is 4F colder on average than the Lierethi. All three of these regions receive much rainfall.<br>
The Fae Forest is a much cooler forest, only getting up to about 65F during the summer, but getting just below freezing in the winter. It has a decent amount of precipitation, and snows at least once or twice a year. The Ebony Swamp is hot and muggy, getting up to around 75F in the summer and only down to 40F in the winter. It is also exceptionally humid and rains fairly frequently. Khadiz is in between these two extremes, getting up to 70F during the summer, and hovers just above freezing during the winter, while having a decent amount of rainfall throughout the year.
Population & Distribution
The Origin Lineages of Drakion are the Elves, Kobolds, and Dwoliath, who have since split into the Dwarves and the Jotunn. In addition to these, decent sized populations of Treants, Aguinn, and Humans live in Drakion. Drakion is broken up into 10 Civilizations, in addition to the roughly 16 Draconic Baronies, as well as the Academy.<br>
Khadhiz, whose residents are known as Khadhish, primarily populated by Jotunn, is located in the western part of Qaelin, the northern continent. Qkhael, located in the Qkhaat Mountains, whose residents are known as the Qkhaelish, is primarily populated by Dwarves, with decent amounts of Kobolds, Jotunn, and Humans located there as well, it also has a decently sized Selenite presence. Fathwith, located in the northern part of the Fae Forest, whose residents are known as Fathish, is primarily populated by Faeries, Treants, and Elves. Kookhrin, located in the Southern Fae Forest, whose residents are known as Kookh, is primarily inhabited with Treants. Klakin, located in the Ebony Swamp and north-western section of the Stlaakh islands, whose residents are known as Klakish, is primarily inhabited with Humans, Treants, and Kobolds.<br>
Atlin, located in Central and Western Stlaakh, whose residents are known as Atlish, is primarily populated by Kobolds. Drakhoor, located on the western edges of the Oceandunes and in Western Stlaakh, whose population is known as Drakhen is populated primarily by Kobolds, with a decent sized population of Humans, and Jotunn.<br>
Akwaela, located underwater within the Stlaakh Islands, as well as off the coast of Western Stlaakh, whose residents are known as Akwish, is primarily populated by Kshaeyin, Sea Elves, and Aquatic Kobolds. Lierethilieli, located in the Lierethi on Lirith, whose residents are known as Liril, is primarily populated by Elves and Gnolls. Chaloola, located mainly on the western end of the continent of the same name, whose residents are known as Chalooin, is primarily inhabited by Humans and Faeries.<br>
Each of the Draconic Baronies is ruled by a specific type of Dragon, and has a population primarily Kobolds of that dragon type. In each Barony, a seemingly random mix of other Lineages can be seen as well. In the Academy, a school for Adventurers and magic, all different Lineages in almost equal proportions study and live together with the goal of honing their craft.

Stellarsiege
Stellarsiege
Stellarsiege is a continent broiled in constant conflict and war. Its Origin Lineages are the Anansi (A humanoid folk with four spider-like limbs protruding their backs, long and sharp fangs, and compound eyes), the Crystalkin (humanoid-shaped folk made out of various kinds of crystal, without discernible faces), and the Lumen (humanoid-shape folk made from stars). It is the largest single piece of land in Drakomere, 8,000 miles from north to south, and about the same from east to west (roughly the distance from Oslo, Norway to Singapore).
Climate
The climate of Stellarsiege is one of the warmest in Drakomere. The northern section, Anoorsin is a tropical rainforest, the average temperature hovering around 75F and a lot of precipitation. The eastern section of Kraetaal has three biomes, the northern section being a Savannah, the middle section being a Desert, and the southern being an Oceanic. The average temperature of these sections lies between 65 to 75F. The southern section, Noovaen is an Oceanic, with an average temperature of 18º C (~65º F). Finally, the eastern section, the Contested Lands is a Mediterranean with an average temperature of 60F, but with the three large volcanoes it usually feels a couple degrees hotter.
Population & Distribution
Stellarsiege has three main civilizations, Anoorsin, inhabited by the Anansi, Highborne, and Faeries, Kraetaal, inhabited by the Crystalkin and Jotunn, and Noovaen, inhabited by Lumen and Infused. All three of these civilizations are constantly embroiled in war with one another, over the valuable mines in the Contested Lands as there are no valuable minerals on the east of the mountains. However, the Contested Lands are ever dangerous, as the three volcanoes (seen as gods in their shared religion) are constantly active, not to mention the constant movement of warriors to try and claim the mineral rich mines.
Geopolitical Landscape
Each of the three civilizations of Stellarsiege has 1 Royal House, 2 other Apex Houses, 6 more Major Houses, and 18 more Minor Houses, as well as uncounted insignificant houses. Whenever a Khan, Leon, or Shaka dies, the two Apex Houses and the Royal House vie for who the successor will be, that house either becomes or remains the Royal House, and if an Apex House ascends, the previous Royal House becomes an Apex House. There are ways for the Major and Minor Houses to ascend or descend, but those are far less important, and far less noticed. Each House takes on an association with one of the Tones of Magic (and by extension an Origin Lineage, and a type of Dragon).
Anoorsin
The Royal Anoorsin House is the ‘ae’waal, which is associated with the Tone of Scrying and thus Carbonite Dragons. The two Apex Houses are the Akakoorie (associated with Contradynation/Lead Dragons), and the Na’ielie (associated with Electromagneturgy/[[Fern Dragon|Fern Dragons).
Kraetaal
The Royal Kraetaal House is the Keshtick, which is associated with the Tone of Graviturgy, and thus Conifer Dragons. The two Apex Houses are the Gorr  (associated with Wither/Topaz Dragons), and Ketekin (associated with Animation/Mercury Dragons)

The Archipelago
The Archipelago
The Archipelago is a series of tropic islands in Drakomere akin to the Caribbean. Its Origin Lineages are the Hathinn, the Triton, and the Aguinn, collectively known as the Archipelagans. The Archipelago is also home to Sóolòo, they are massive, several mile-long whales which serve as the main transport between Regions in Drakomere.
Climate
The Archipelago is very similar in climate to that of the Caribbean as they lie on similar lines of latitude and are both tropical island chains. The northern sections of the Archipelago tend to be warmer, and the southern sections of the Archipelago tend to be cooler.
Population & Distribution
The Archipelago has five main civilizations. Qákhōolá is the home of the Saurians who fled from the Stonebloom Plateau to the north. The Saurians, or their name for themselves, the Ìqáalìe, have a tribal form of government, and via a ritual and ceremony are willing to accept outsiders into their tribes, giving them certain boons due to Geneolurgy. Signoor, Daefis, and Azbeck are all populated by the Archipelagans, who have a three tiered society. The Hathinn are fully land-based and can only breathe air, the Triton are amphibious and can breathe both air and water, and the Aguinn are fully aquatic and can only breathe water. Their societies are built on the coast, with land sections and aquatic sections, the land being inhabited by the Hathinn, the water being inhabited by the Aguinn, and the Triton living in and traveling between both. Azbeck in specific also has a more international population, with some Lineages from other parts of Drakomere being a larger presence there. Finally, the Code Lands are inhabited by three main groups, the Aquatic Vespoid who live in hivefleets, with the queen having her own dedicated ship, the pirates, who are almost all Codist and raid the other civilizations of the Archipelago, and finally Adventurers. The reason the Code Lands is like this is due to the various monsters, undead, and tails of One-Eyed Flame that have found their way to this place.

Stormwood
Stormwood
Stormwood is a primarily forested Region to the south of Drakomere, constantly embroiled in a thunderstorm traveling in a chaotic around the Region. Its Origin Lineages are the Croaken, Trolls, and Ogres, and also has a decent population of Phrenian, having fled there from the Twisted Lands.
Climate
Stormwood is one of the colder Regions of Drakomere, second only to Steelshroud. Its northern Oceanic, consisting of the Civilizations Ogrog and Shtlem, has an average temperature around 60F. The eastern section of Stormwood, a Taiga occupied by the Kae-oe-oen, hovers around an average temperature of  55F. The northwestern section of Stormwood, a Mediterranean inhabited by the Shatlis, has an average temperature around 65F). The southwestern section of Stormwood, another Taiga, inhabited by the Girgin has an average temperature of 50F. Finally, the southern region of Stormwood, inhabited by the Oozhtae and the Tairien has an average temperature of 35ºF.<br>
The whole Region receives heavy rainfall from the storm that travels the Region. This storm has both consistent lightning and streams of fire causing temporary forest fires as it passes which are put out by the weaker trail that follows. In the southernmost reaches of the continent the storm instead snows in the form of a heavy blizzard with both fire and lightning.
Population & Distribution
There are eight main Civilizations in Stormwood, Ogrog, Kae-oe-oen, Shtlem, Shatlis, Girgin, Oozhtae, Skwaefor, and Tairien. Ogrog is primarily inhabited by Ogres. Kae-oe-oen is inhabited by Phrenian and some Elves. Shtlem is inhabited primarily by Croaken, as well as some Infused. Shatlis is also inhabited primarily by Croaken, as well as many Kobold. Oozhtae is inhabited primarily by Trolls. Skwaefor is an aquatic society inhabited by Sea Elves, Tritons, and Aguinn. Finally, Tairien is inhabited solely by Trolls.

The Chaos is the region to the southeast of Drakomere, its Origin Lineages are the Infused, Deeplings, and Dopplegangers. The whole region of the Chaos is heavily invested with the Tone of Infusion, and thus randomly throughout the Region, elemental flurries can spring up randomly, snapping from the latent Resonance in the air. The Chaos is roughly 4,900 miles from North to South (roughly the same distance from N’djamena, Chad, to Dubai, UAE).
Climate
The Climate of the Chaos is somewhat all over the place. On the west of the chaos is an ocean, which has an average temperature of 57F. To the east is a mediterranean (towards to north and south) and a taiga (in between). The average temperature of the northern mediterranean is 13º C (~55º F), the taiga has an average temperature of 51F, and the mediterranean to the south has an average temperature of 46F. Down the middle of the Chaos is a section with next to no precipitation. The Ahyaiyin Desert to the north has an average temperature of 46F, while the Jalielin Desert to the south has an average temperature of 40F, finally, the arctic to the south of the Jalielin Desert has an average temperature of 26F.
Population & Distribution
The Chaos has ten major civilizations. The Shanie and Jalielin are societies of primarily Dopplegangers, the Krashtek are a society of primarily Terran Infused, the Sefsoomin are a society of primarily Aquatic Infused, the Aihwa and the Aihyaiyin are  societies of primarily Aerial Infused, the Akhstoon and Jaashkienoe are societies of primarily Incendiary Infused, Zhaashtoozhin is a society primarily of Deeplings, and Gaabieng is a society primarily of Goblins and Bugbears. Nations

The following is a list of nations in Drakomere

Twisted Lands Nations

The Nations in the Twisted Lands are as following
Renth
Shē-òo-òe
Kálòo-òo
Nāekà-á

The Grassland would be called a swamp in wetter and warmer Regions, also being covered in little ponds and rivulets with the tall grasses and reeds standing above it.
The rest of Steelshroud south of the Topaz Ridge is similar in climate, with the Zhenem Plateau and Hisies Frostlands being more humid in general. The Plateau and Frostlands both run just under freezing during the winter and get up to about 60F) in the summer. In the Innovative Khisiv, the temperature gets to about 35F in the winter and up to 55F in the summer.
This means that in the winters, the whole ground is basically frozen, and in the warm seasons, the whole ground is wet and muddy.

(The Dragons that have not ventured to Drakion are generally reclusive, and over the Ages, in addition to the pressure of Aberrant Influence, have generally reverted to a more animalistic sort of nature.)

Both of these regions receive minimal rainfall.
All three of these regions receive much rainfall.

Drakion is broken up into 10 Civilizations, in addition to the roughly 16 Draconic Baronies, as well as the Academy.
Klakin, located in the Ebony Swamp and north-western section of the Stlaakh islands, whose residents are known as Klakish, is primarily inhabited with Humans, Treants, and Kobolds.
Atlin, located in Central and Western Stlaakh, whose residents are known as Atlish, is primarily populated by Kobolds. Drakhoor, located on the western edges of the Oceandunes and in Western Stlaakh, whose population is known as Drakhen is populated primarily by Kobolds, with a decent sized population of Humans, and Jotunn.
Chaloola, located mainly on the western end of the continent of the same name, whose residents are known as Chalooin, is primarily inhabited by Humans and Faeries.

Finally, the southern region of Stormwood, inhabited by the Oozhtae and the Tairien has an average temperature of 35ºF.

The Chaos

Infused Dwarves also live with the Infused.
