Triton

Triton originate from the Archipelago, along with Loxodon, Locathah, and Ìqáalìe. They are a proud people valuing glory and honor. Along with all the races in the Archipelago, they have existed since the 1st Age.

Ability Score Increases. Your Strength, Constitution, and Charisma each increase by 1.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Archipelagan.

Speed. You have a Walking and Swimming speed of 30ft.

Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of rippling blue.

Emissary of the Sea. You can communicate simple ideas to any Beast, Elemental, or Monstrosity that has a swimming speed. It can understand your words, though you have no special ability to understand it in return.

Guardian of the Depths. Adapted to even the most extreme ocean depths, you have resistance to cold damage.

Honed Glory. You gain proficiency with Arcana, Perception, and Persuasion.

Onward!. When you roll a Natural 20 on a Saving Throw or Attack Roll, creatures of your choice within 30ft of you can gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to your level.

Triton Martial Training. You gain proficiency with tridents, javelins, shields, and light armor.
