A large, sleepy, peaceful race that enjoys bamboo very much, these panda-esque humanoids can be dangerous when riled, and are a formidable race of warriors and mages. They’re the juggernauts of the jungle.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1. Age. XiongMao typically live to be around 80 to 120 years old. Alignment. XiongMao have a strong bent towards neutrality and good, but typically their defining motive is seeking after food and sleep. Size. XiongMao are a large race, typically standing between 9 and 11 feet tall. Speed. Your base movement speed is 30 feet, and you have a climbing speed equal to your movement speed. Unstoppable: You can use your action to immediately end any effect on yourself that would inhibit your movement(e.g. Restrained, Grappled, Slowed, etc). In addition, you move an extra 10 feet in the direction of the nearest enemy, continually aggressing. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus + your strength modifier. You regain all expended uses after a long rest. Sleepy and Hungry: XiongMao exert a lot of energy fighting and such, so they require more sleep and food than the average creature. They take 10 hours to complete a long rest and require twice as much food as normal. Push On: You can expend a hit dice as a reaction whenever you take damage to roll it and heal for that amount plus your constitution modifier. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier per long rest. Thick Hide: Your base AC equals 13 + your Constitution modifier. Menacing Build: You have proficiency in Intimidation, and for you it can be Strength(Intimidation), in addition to Charisma(Intimidation). Magical Resistance: You have advantage on Strength, Constitution, and Charisma saves against magic. Serene Healing: XiongMao can meditate and through that gain access to healing magic. At 3rd level you can cast the Lesser Restoration spell as a ritual. Languages: You speak Common and XiongYu, the deep language of the XiongMao.
