Firbolg originated as Giants who tried to take the Wild-Plains, and got cursed by the Shamans there. They accepted their new forms and developed a new way of life. Firbolgs have existed since the 16th Age, when the Giants surprise attacked the Wild-Plains.

Ability Score Increases. Your Wisdom Score Increases by 2 and your Strength Score increases by 1.

Age. Firbolg are infants until age 25, adolescents until age 80, mature until age 400, mid-life until age 600, elder until age 800, and ancient afterwards.

Creature Type. Being a direct descendant of Giants, your creature types are Humanoid and Giant.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Giant, and Primal.

Size. Firbolgs are between 9 and 13 feet tall, weighing between 300 and 400 pounds, your size is Large.

Firbolg Magic. You can cast Detect Magic and Disguise Self with this trait, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability for them. Once you cast either spell, you can’t cast it again with this trait until you finish a long rest. When you use this version of Disguise Self, you can become up to 3 feet taller or shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves. You can also cast these spells using any spell slots you have.

Hidden Step. As a bonus action, you can magically turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses at the end of a long rest.

Natural Skill. You gain proficiency in Survival, Animal Handling, or Nature.

Speech of Beast and Leaf. You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
