Allokins are subtypes of a Dragon, similar in their properties and and physical makeup, but with certain different abilities, environments, and cultures, as well as usually looking very different. Tin Dragons have two different Allokins, Pewter Dragons and Cassiterite Dragons.
=== Pewter Dragons ===
Pewter Dragons are generally a bit larger, but less long-lived than Tin Dragons, they are also a darker silver in color, and are less shiny. They are less physically resilient and magically powerful then their Tin counterparts, but they are immune to Frostfever. Pewter Dragons often live in the cold, they generally value being seen as powerful and respected or honored as a main goal of one's life, where often Pewter dragons will find a small town and take up residence, trying to place themselves over the town as monarch, usually not with physical violence, but rather with social engineering and displays of grandeur.
Unlike Tin Dragons, Pewter Dragons are often far more socially accepting of corruption, and often accept things like bribes, blackmail, or manipulation as a fact of life, if not a positive aspect of it. Despite this, like their smaller and older cousins, Pewter Dragons usually feel the effects of the many when it comes to societal pressure, and can be easily influenced into taking certain courses of action. Pewter Dragons typically reside in colder environments, as to not be prey to their more honorable and honest cousins.
=== Cassiterite Dragons ===
Cassiterite Dragons are a bit smaller, but more long-lived than Tin Dragons. They have three common physical forms, the majority are standard, with metallic scales that are silvery, very course with an almost bubbly texture and are lined and course, but extremely glossy. Then there are two rare mutations in the appearance of Cassiterite Dragons. Crystal-like Cassiterite Dragons look like dark, black crystal, almost like semi-translucent onyx. Wood-like Cassiterite Dragons look bulbous and clumpy, with brown, yellow, and orange scales and somewhat disproportioned bodies. The former of the two is seen as preferable and is venerated, while the latter is seen as less than and is discriminated against.
Where it comes to their actual prowess, all three expressions of Cassiterite Dragons are the same, and are just slightly less powerful than Tin Dragons, apart from also being immune to Frostfever. There are several communities of Cassiterite Dragons that live along the rivers in the western region of the Stonebloom Plateau, and a couple rogue Cassiterite Dragons settle down in rivers throughout the rest of Drakomere, usually the wood-like Cassiterite Dragons are the ones you'll find living on their own or in a small community.
