When you successfully inspire someone, the power of your eloquence can now spread to someone else. When a creature within 60 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to encourage a different creature (other than yourself) that can hear you within 60 feet of you, giving it a Bardic Inspiration die without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses.
== College of Flame ==
The College of Flame is home to bards who sought knowledge and expertise on the natural rhythm of a flickering flame and how to replicate it.
==== Bonus Proficiencies ====
When you select this subclass at 3rd level, you gain Proficiency and Expertise in Agility and Performance.
Additionally, you gain the Fire Bolt cantrip.
==== Fire Dance ====
When you select this subclass at 3rd level you gain the ability to move like a flickering flame.
When you activate this ability as a bonus action you gain a +10 to movement speed and whenever you move within 10ft of a creature they must make a dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 fire damage as sparks fly from your feet. This can affect the same creature for every 5 feet you move near it for a maximum of 3 per turn. You cannot cast spells or make weapon attacks while fire dancing.
The damage increases to 1d8 at level 8, 1d10 at level 14 and 2d8 at level 18
This ability lasts 10 minutes or until you choose to end it with a bonus action and can be used as a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining expended uses at the end of a long rest.
==== Where There's Smoke There's Fire ====
At 3rd level when an enemy you can see attacks a creature, you can use a Reaction to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration and cause a smoke screen to materialize between the enemy and the creature, causing the attack to suffer a penalty equal to one roll of your Bardic Inspiration Die. Starting at 6th level, if this causes the target to miss on the attack, you can cast Fire Bolt as a Free Action targeting that creature.
==== Empowered Fire Dance ====
At 6th level your Fire Dance becomes more powerful.
Now while using fire dance you have advantage on dexterity saving throws and performance checks as well as a +2 bonus to your AC.
Additionally, now while flame dancing you can take the Dash and Disengage actions as Bonus Actions.
==== Fiery Finale ====
Starting at 14th level when you finish moving or your fire dance ends you can use a bonus action to end your fire dance with a great fiery finale.
When you use this feature as your movement or fire dance ends you erupt with fire and all creatures within 15ft of you must make a Dexterity Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC, or suffer 4d12 Fire Damage and be knocked Prone on a failure or half as much damage on a success and not be knocked Prone. Also after this finale you gain Resistance to both Cold and Fire damage for 1 minute.
