Resonant

The Resonant is the adventurer who gains some slight magic.
Starting Skill: Arcane, Divine, or Primal. If you choose Resonant as your starting path, gain a free skill rank in either Arcane, Divine, or Primal, depending on the Melody you choose in your key talent (in addition to the rank gained from Specific Attunement).

Specific Attunement (Resonant Talent)

When you gain this Talent, choose one of the following, Arcane, Divine, or Primal, additionally, your Resonance maximum increases to 2 + the greater of your Presence or Awareness.
You can now use the Intake Resonance Action.
You gain either the Arcane (Intellect), Primal (Awareness), or Divine skill (Willpower), depending on which Melody you chose, with 1 rank in it.
Choose one Tone from the Melody you chose You can only use the nascent version of your chosen Tone for now.
While you have at least 1 Resonance, you gain one of the following benefits depending on which Melody you chose.

Arcane. Your cognitive defense increases by 2.
Primal. Your physical defense increases by 2.
Divine. You spiritual defense increases by 2.

Additionally, you gain the Resonant goal "Attune Resonance". After completing this goal, you gain its reward: You unlock the full version of your Tone and can choose talents from its talent tree.

Resonant

Prerequisite: Specific Attunement
Activation: Always Active When you acquire this talent, your maximum Resonance increases by a number equal to your tier. When your tier increases by 1, your maximum Resonance does as well.

Instinctive Casting

Prerequisite: Resonant
Activation: Free Action
Spend 1 focus to gain 1 Action that you can only spend towards using your Tones.
Leads to: Resonant Expansion

Resonant Expansion

Prerequisite: Arcane, Primal, or Divine 3+, Instinctive Casting
Activation: Special Activation
Choose a Tone from any Melody, if it is your first Tone of that Melody, gain the corresponding Skill with 1 rank in it, and you gain access to the nascent version of that Tone. You gain gain the Resonant goal "Attune Resonance." After completing the goal, you gain its reward: You unlock the full version of your Tone and can choose talents from its talent tree.
After you complete this goal, you can spend another talent to gain this talent again.
