Classes

Bruiser Classes

These classes generally get abilities to improve their Attacks and survivability. You'll see most of these classes in the front lines with a decent amount of armor and weaponry, or other ways to increases their AC and deal more Damage with Weapons. While these classes do have some exploration/interaction features, they don't have too many. But what they lack in utility they make up for in tankiness as Damage output.

Bruiser Classes
Class Complexity (1-5) Description
Barbarian 1 You are a raging warrior who, without armor, is almost insurmountable, a wild force in combat near impossible to take down.
Disciple 3 You are a warrior that uses mystical fighting styles and energy flowing through the world to take down your foes with flexible efficiency.
Dracolyte 2 You are a warrior that uses the power of dragons to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies and embody the abilities of the dragon you draw your strength from.
Executioner 3 You learn to hit your enemies while they're down, and hit them hard, acting as an angel of death and dealing out destruction and disabling your foes to strike them with a powerful death-knell.
Fighter 1 You are an extremely versatile warrior with a myriad of fighting styles, weapons, armor, and attacks to best execute your unique flavor, often tanks, a whirlwind of blades, and a storm of arrows.
Monk 2 You use the mystical power within yourself mixed with martial arts to master yourself and your combat prowess as you become a flurry of strikes.


Specialist Classes

These classes generally get a lot of ability to out out high volumes of Damage, but also get a lot of utility, like exploration/interaction features, Spells, Proficiencies, Expertise, etc. Unfortunately, because of this, these classes generally can't take a hit as well as the Bruisers, so many rely on more hit and run tactics.

Ranger 3 You are an expert tracker and hunter, using martial prowess and learned knowledge of nature, the wilds, and beasts to master your surroundings, with intense power on the battlefield and a variety of skills and specialties, your utility and strength is near endless.
Rogue 1 You are a stealthy and skilled assassin, tactician, scout, and more, you specialize in what they're good at, becoming the best in your area of expertise, almost never failing, and dealing unreasonable amounts of damage and death to your foes.
Savant 3 You are an expert in a field of you choosing, learning the ins and outs of it, and combat, through consistent learned and studied courses, becoming a surprisingly effective adventurer, both on the battlefield and off it.
Traveler 2 You are a hardy, rounded, and versatile journeyman, that gains power from your knowledge and experience on the road, and the friends you make along the way.
Warlord 3 You have a great presence on the battlefield, commanding and inspiring others in split second decisions, giving your allies additional offensive, defensive, and utility abilities, while using your own to great effect.


Half-Caster Classes

These classes generally gain Spellcasting at 2nd Level, and progress through gaining new Spell Slot Levels at half the rate of a Full-Caster. Because of this most of these classes gain some other features as well, such as martial ability, or extreme utility.

Half-Caster Classes
Class Complexity (1-5) Description
Artificer 3 You are an inventor, infusing items with magical properties as you enhance both you and your allies while making everything as efficient as possible, both in and out of combat.
Maledictor 3 You use magical curses called Brands, as well as both weaponry and magic, to target and take down your foes while disabling them.
Paladin 3 You are a holy warrior, clad in armor, weaponry, and ringed with divine power, you smite down your foes, and take hits like a truck while supporting your allies.
Soul-Binder 4 You have bound yourself to another creature, allowing you and that creature to grow together, becoming stronger and more in tune with each other as time passes.


Pact-Caster Classes

These classes gain Pact Casting, generally at 1st Level, which is a form of Spellcasting where they gain new Spell Slots at the same rate as Full-Casters, but cap out at 5th Level Spells when they reach 9th Level. However, all of a Pact-Casters Spells are at the highest Level Spell Slot, they have less Spell Slots, but they can use an Action a few times per Long Rest to regain all of their Spell Slots. Pact-Casters usually get some type of utility features as well

Pact-Caster Classes

Warlock 4 You are a mage that gains magic via making a pact with a powerful, sometimes incomprehensible being, with a unique form of casting spells allowing you to consistently cast your most powerful magic.


Full-Caster Classes

These classes gain full Spell progression, eventually getting 9th Level Spells. Because of this, these classes are generally fairly subclass dependent as their core class usually doesn't have too many features because about half of the class is taken up by new Spell Levels and Ability Score Improvements. Full-Casters generally have a lot of utility and Damage potential due to the sheer amount of Spells that they have access to.

Bard 3 You are a spellcaster that taps into the power of creation via music, art, poetry, or choreography to support and heal your allies, and curse your foes.
Cleric 2 You are a servant of the divine, with power and magic anywhere from pure healing, to mighty thunder, to the power of the dragon.
Druid 4 You are a mage who uses the power of nature and shapeshifting into beasts, you are a support on the battlefield, but you can also be monstrous force in your beast form.
Seeker 3 You use the power of divine magic via slow methodical rites and rituals to see glimpses of the future as you bend the world to your will as you gain premonition and manipulation of the future.
Sorcerer 4 You are a natural mage, using talent rather than study, worship, art, devotion or pacts, to gain your magic, slinging spells known innately and transmuting them via natural skill, with massive damage and power dealt on the battlefield.
Wizard 3 You are a spellcaster that taps into magic via repeated learning and study, carrying your spellbook and reviewing it each night, while this seems like a downside, this allows you to learn every spell in the world, giving you massive utility, support, power, and offensive potential in almost all scenarios.
