Lycophyte Dragons

Lycophyte Dragons are one of the nine Vegetative Dragons of Drakomere. They are associated with the Tone of Fabrication, the Harmony of Transmutation, and the Melody of Primal. They originated in the Chaos, and are associated with the Origin Ancestry, the Doppleganger. Due to their association with Transmutation Magic, they are also tied to the vice of Envy, and the virtue of Munificence, as well as a secondary tie to Ouroboros, even though Quetzalcoatl is their primary god, being god of Vegetative Dragons, thus also being related to the sky. They originated in the Chaos, but just like most of the Vegetative Dragons scattered throughout Drakomere, with their different Cultikins requiring different environments. Lycophyte Dragons have four Cultikins, Lycopidiverns, Selagiverns, Lepidoverns, and Isoetaverns.
As a whole, Lycophyte Dragons have some traits in common, they reproduce via Sporovum (Spore Eggs), almost pinecone like eggs, and their Breath sprays hyper flammable particulates and sparks, spraying flames and destruction. Lycophyte Dragons also have a sapient fungi that grows inside them, giving them an almost dual mind. Lastly, they are also incredibly long lived, even for Dragon standards, living for upwards of [TIME] years.
Lycophyte Dragons can vary in size drastically depending on their Cultikin, with the Lepidovern being some of the biggest Dragons hands down, while Isoetavern, Lycopidivern, and Selagivern are among the smallest.

Lycopidivern

The most common Cultikin of Lycophyte Dragons, Lycopidiverns spread throughout the majority of Drakomere in small communities here and there, especially in the mountains closer to the equator, but not in the deserts that often reside in those mountain's rain shadows. They're on the smaller side of Dragons, being just about 8 feet in height at their full grown size. They are covered in small, green, straight leaves that resemble softer pine needles, and their bodies are generally very thin and wiry. They often have a great love and appreciation for music, and many become good optometrists.

Selagivern

The second most common Cultikin of Lycophyte Dragons, Selagiverns, generally tend to exist in the more tropical, equatorial regions of Drakomere, however some of their kind naturally prefer the arctic reaches of the far north and south. Their scales have a branching and creeping scaled-leaf pattern, where it looks like each scale grows into another, making a vein-type look, until it eventually splits, with each of the branches continuing that pattern all-throughout the Dragon. They continuously grow new scales underneath their current layer, and also regularly shed their outermost scales. Upon reaching adulthood, Selagiverns are fairly average in their size compared to all Dragons, but they slowly grow larger and larger as they age and grow new, larger scales and shed their old ones, with no real maximum size, making the elders of their species massive in size. Selagiverns also have six legs, as well as two pairs of wings on either end of their long torsos.

Lepidovern

The second rarest, and the most massive Cultikin of Lycophyte Dragons, Lepidoverns, that reside throughout the Chaos and in the larger swamps of Drakomere. They are truly massive Dragons, [some size comparison], and they have thick bark-like scales. They have a lion-like mane of twigs and large leaves at the end of their very long necks, with leaf-scars where the leaves used to grow along the rest of the neck. Their wings are the shape and form of massive leaves, and their three-layered bark-like scales are extremely hard and rough. Their tails are shorter and stubby, taking on spiraling roots along the length of the tail.

Isoetavern

The rarest Cultikin of Lycophyte Dragons, Isoetaverns, are one of the amphibious Dragons of Drakomere, with small communities forming around clear ponds and lakes, as well as slow and lazy streams and rivers. They are also on the smaller side, being slightly larger than Lycopidiverns. Their joints tend to be white and tuber-shaped with many single stranded leaves, almost like long grass, erupting out from the tuber shaped joint extending from, and comprising the surface and scales of, the actual body parts between each joint. While, the average adult Isoetavern generally gets to only about 9 or 10 feet in in size, when exposed to Khaagaazh they can undergo a second growth, growing more within the middling range of average sized dragons.
