There is a constitutional Form-Price in Girgin, where whenever one Ogryssalizes, they must pay a tithe to the God-Queen's Church, going up in price based on the form taken. Brute is the cheapest, being almost nothing, only about a week's wages for the common man, followed by Sage, being seen as both an honor and a yoke, with Aegis being the most expensive, as to keep the nobility "in power".<br>
While the Aegises in nobility "rule", in truth they are moreso figureheads, with the Slave-Priests ruling as a cabal in the shadows, this is not common knowledge, both in Girgin itself, as well as Drakomere as a whole, with only the most powerful and influential Slave-Priests and Nobles readily knowing the truth.
